Freedom messenger- Imprisoned Iranian blogger died in regime’s prison due to tortureHRNA news agency – one of Sattar’s close relative stated in an interview with HRNA that the police would hand over Sattar’s body to the Kahrizak cemetery and to his family.
Sattar Beheshti was an activist and a blogger who was arrested by the cyber police on national security charges on the 30th of October. His crimes were due to his major acitivty in socal networks such as Facebook and blogging.
After raiding his fathers home, he was violently arrested where the security forces confiscated his personal belongings, including his computer and handwritten notes. He was transferred to an anonymous location.
Sources reported that Beheshti was physically tortured at the hands of his captors.mr.Beheshti was considered perfectly healthy before his arrest.
